Biography

J. Wayne Streilein is Charles L. Schepens Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, Vice-Chair for Research of the Harvard Department of Ophthalmology, and President of the Schepens Eye Research Institute in Boston, Mass. Dr. Streilein is a recipient of a Research to Prevent Blindness Senior Scientific Investigator Award. He is the editor of the book Immune Response and the Eye (Chemical Immunology, vol 73), published by Karger in 1999.
